The campaign will also invite college students to contribute suggestions and solutions through mobile video clips on simple ways of removing barriers that will make their lives less challenging so that they may participate in mainstream society.
“Voice for inclusion”: Volunteers gather data on need areas, map accessibility issues, track technology that will enhance life stage requirements of the sector etc, along with perceptions of the masses the mapping will work towards addressing needs for an inclusive community by sharing solutions and action plan for development.
Never-the-less @ Corporate, businesses and Industry
Working together is empowerment
Management and employees at over 100 corporate organisations, businesses, and industry will participate in awareness programs at corporate hubs as well as through company forums and internal networks. Exhibitions and audio-visuals screenings will create awareness of the contribution that a simple change of facilities and attitude of the larger public towards persons with disabilities empowers them to make effective contribution to any progressive organization
Never-the-less @ Public & local communities
Living together is enriching
Public outreach will be conducted at malls, bus depots, places of worship, and various other public places to sensitize the larger public into making our country inclusive and friendlier in terms of facilities and infrastructure that make life easier and convenient for everyone. Example: While we have staircases to enable us, similarly we need to realize that a large number of people will instead need ramps (which all of us find convenient to use).
